How do I get to Allure at Palm Cove Beach Club from Cairns Airport?

Allure at Palm Cove Beach Club is located approximately 20km due north from Cairns International Airport. There are bus services from the airport to the northern beaches, which cost around $25 per person. A taxi from the airport costs approximately A$50.00, or limousine transfers start around A$70.00. See Palm Cove Limousines to arrange your own transfer. Rental cars are available from the airport or in Palm Cove.

How do I find my room at Allure?

You will be met on arrival, be taken to your apartment, and guided around the facilities of the apartment and resort.

What should I pack for my holiday?

At Allure you’ll only need to bring items of a personal nature. We’ve included the extras you’ll appreciate, including heavier or awkward items like beach towels and tennis racquets, a range of popular DVDs and CDs, board games, books, and pool toys.

The climate in Tropical North Queensland (TNQ) is warm all year round. You’ll only need comfortable lightweight clothing for day and evening. In the "winter" months of May to August you may occasionally require a light jacket for a bit of extra warmth at night.

The restaurants in Palm Cove have a very relaxed policy on dress regulations. For men shorts or slacks and a collared shirt are very acceptable even in the evening; and for ladies a summer dress or casual trousers suit most occasions. Sandals are the most common footwear.

If you want to enjoy all that TNQ has to offer, pack your swimsuits, hat and sunscreen. If you intend to go exploring the reef, bring some lightweight acquatic shoes or runners to protect your feet.

Where do I go to eat around Palm Cove?

There is an impressive array of restaurants within a very short walk, 4 of them at the front door of the Beach Club resort, and two of these are on the Good Food Travellers Top 200 list. There are also more modest establishments offering pizzas, crepes, ice creams and pub counter meals.

Apartment Servicing

Your apartment will be serviced weekly, unless you request a different level of service. Options are available for a mid stay clean and linen change after 3 days. Please make the arrangements with Palm Cove Real Estate (Phone +61 7 4059 2802).

Is Allure at Palm Cove Beach Club suitable for children?

Your apartment is equipped with all the basic essentials to allow you and your family to walk in and relax and enjoy your holiday. There are 3 large pools in the resort, one of which is a lagoon style with gentle sandy beaches and deck chairs, making it especially safe for toddlers and younger children. Books, board games, CDs and DVDs are provided in the apartment at no cost. We have tried to select a range to cover all members of your family. One of the king beds can be made up as 2 singles. Babysitting can be arranged through a local agency.
